Nokia N97: Format / Hard Reset On BootupIts always a good idea to do a format once every few months or even when you first start your S60 device again.

There are 2 ways to do a drive to model the device memory:
1). once the device is switched on and the home screen type * # 7370 # and enter the security code (default is 12345) and then the device will reboot and restart.

2-a). a hard reset when the device is off press and hold the green call, the number 3 key and * + button, then continue to keep the keys and now the power key, hold the 4 keys until the boots upp devicce and asks the country etc.Diagram

If the device can not boot or a contact retailer message then boot disk in a format usually solve the problem.

WARNING do a hard reset will ERASE all user data in the device memory, including contacts, calendar entries, etc. and any apps you have installed the C: drive, memory card mass storage and will remain so the unafected data will still be there, but you may have to reinstall some applications, even if they are installed for mass mem / mem card.
